Meet Our Team

Dr John Moore

Our team, led by Dr. John Moore, MD, and Nikki Brunaugh, AGPCNP-BC, understands the impact chronic pain can have on a patient’s well-being. They work with patients suffering from arthritis, back pain, sciatica, joint pain, myofascial pain, fibromyalgia, and more.

Dr. Moore is passionate about bringing excellent healthcare to small towns. His clinical interests are dedicated to all aspects of pain management and he will work closely with your other providers for well-rounded and whole-person care. Dr. Moore is board certified in pain management.

Nikki Brunaugh

Nikki Brunaugh earned her master's degree from Maryville University specializing in adult/gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP-BC) and is board-certified in pain management. With more than 15 years of nursing experience, Nikki is committed to treating each patient as an individual and ensuring they receive the best possible care. Outside of work, Nikki loves to travel and spend time with her family.

They are experts in finding the right treatment to get you back to enjoying a full life. Our interdisciplinary pain team develops a comprehensive custom treatment plan, designed to decrease the intensity and frequency of your pain and to improve your overall ability to function. Innovative treatments are available now to control your pain and limit the use of opioid medications.

Diagnosis and Treatment

Diagnosis is an important part of the pain management process. The Alton Memorial Hospital Pain Management Center can help identify and treat sources of pain that include:

The Pain Management Center is in Suite 103 of Medical Office Building A on the Alton Memorial Hospital campus.  The Center is open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
