Expectant families and visitors have a direct and dedicated entrance into our childbirth center 24 hours a day through our convenient Smith Wing entrance. While waiting for the arrival of your new addition, loved ones can relax in this spacious, private waiting room.
Our Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum rooms allow families to remain in the same place conveniently and comfortably from admission to discharge from the hospital.
Our labor and delivery rooms are specifically designed for all your needs while in labor. Whenever possible, your newborn will be placed skin-to-skin immediately following birth allowing for the first hour to be spent bonding with your new addition in this room.
If you deliver in one our labor and delivery rooms, once it is safe to do so, you, your support person, and your baby will be moved to one of our postpartum rooms where you’ll spend the rest of your stay recovering and bonding.
