Meet the Orthopedic Team

The physicians and staff at Alton Orthopedic Clinic and BJC Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine specialize in preventing, diagnosing and treating injuries related to participation in sports and exercise in patients of all ages. Whether you are exercising for recreation or a competitive athlete, the specialists are here to diagnose and treat medical problems.

Our sports medicine surgeons and physicians not only treat musculoskeletal injuries, but they can also play a role in performance medicine, where an athletes’ physiology is monitored, and aberrations corrected, in order to achieve peak physical performance. Our doctors treat injuries such as muscle, ligament, tendon and bone problems. They may also treat chronic illnesses that can affect physical performance, such as asthma and diabetes, as well as advising on the management and prevention of injuries.

Alton Orthopedic Clinic has six physician assistants on staff to provide care for their patients. A physician assistant (PA) is a nationally certified and state-licensed medical professional.
