Ambulance Service

Alton Memorial Hospital offers the River Bend's only hospital-based advanced life support (ALS) ambulance service. Experienced Emergency Medical Technicians and paramedics provide emergency treatment as well as transfer services throughout the region. Our emergency department physicians and nurses also act as a resource to our EMS personnel in the field, ensuring that we offer a high level of medical expertise on the scene. Most insurance plans, as well as Medicare Assignment, are accepted.
