Tuition Assistance
Alton Memorial Hospital provides educational assistance to employees entering high-demand, health-care professions. The Hospital offers both tuition reimbursement and tuition loan forgiveness plans for approved degree programs. Employees who work at least 30 hours per pay period are eligible for tuition assistance.

Templin Scholarship Fund
The demand for nurses is high everywhere. It is easy to find meaningful, challenging and rewarding jobs. Nursing is both an art and a science. It blends a scientific mind, technological know-how and a compassionate heart.

Most often it's money that brings about the change of plans. But money should never be a deterrent for anyone seeking a career in nursing.

Thanks to the Daisy Templin and Roger P. Templin Scholarship Fund at Alton Memorial Hospital, anyone in the River Bend area -- young or old, man or woman -- can receive assistance with a nursing career.

Scholarships are awarded and considered for renewal annually. Templin Scholarships are funded by Alton Memorial Health Services Foundation.
